About
I'm a 21-year-old, New Zealand writer, new to the world of professional writing, but have produced articles for local papers and a magazine.
With a keen eye and creative thinking, I'm veering my current services towards online writing. And, would suit new and small businesses, who are hoping to step up their online presence.
Also, with a timeless attraction for long forms of fiction, such as novels and novella, I would like to explore the field by helping others develop their work through structural editing. My services here would suit people, new too and early on, in the development of their draft manuscripts.
Online content
After studying, I've discovered an interest in helping people with their business narratives and online presence. Nowadays, a good website and its content can be a make or break for new clients.
For particular demographics, their first thought isn't to pop into store or call to get the information they want; it's to check online, and see how much they can find there.
Writing is where they'll gain the most information and make, even seemingly unconscious decisions, based on the presentation of those words.
Whether you need online content written, or just looked over, there is something I can do to help.
Structural editing
When pouring your ideas into a manuscript, there can be a difficulty, removing yourself from your writing and look at it critically; even though you may want to or know it's necessary.
Plot holes or not fully recognised character can occur here, to be left alone and slip through the cracks. These affect the quality of the work, no matter the quality of the idea.
So, structural editing involves looking at the bigger picture of a manuscripts narrative and characters, by seeing which of these elements are working and which could be improved, cut or changed altogether. It does not include any re-writing, revision of grammar, spelling or typos. These are looked at later by a different kind of editor.
Final note
I understand the bouts of anxiety that can come when presenting your work to others. So, if and when you approach me with work, I will always be aware of how difficult that can be and will handle your efforts with care and without judgement.

These are only rough estimates for some of my online content, and editing services.
For structural edits of manuscripts, I'm happy to provide a free quote and sample assessment (of no more than the first 10% of your total pages) to see if my services fit your needs.

Before taking on any project, we'll have the opportunity to discuss your work or ideas in more depth. I can then provide a quote.
